A Sad Note

Kes, my baby boy cat, passed away yesterday. He was a black and white kitty that had double-paws on all four feet and weighed about 18 pounds. He has been sick for the past couple of weeks so it wasn't a surprise for him to pass. I just need to share this so please bear with me. He had been sleeping on the staircase landing for the past couple of days and yesterday he climbed the stairs and laid underneath the bed on my side. Yesterday was a beautiful day and hubby and myself were enjoying it by swimming with the little girl and pa-paw. Out of no where the sky shifted from a clear blue sky to dark clouds. It started sprinkling and you could hear thunder. So we decided to get out of the pool and go inside. I went up to see Kes and to make sure that he was comfortable and ok. I laid on the ground and placed my hand on his stomach and pet him. I don't know how to explain it because the sensation was odd, but his body jolted, but it wasn't a spasm or anything. I knew that he passed right then. All I could do was hold him and rock him while I sat on the floor crying. Hubby and the little girl came up to see what happened. My beautiful little princess looked at Kes and knew something was out of sorts. I thought that I would be upset that hubby brought her in the room when he should have known what was going on but for whatever reason I wasn't. I told her that Kes was gone and that I was crying because I would miss him so much. That he would be able to see his brother WeaselDog. I was surprised when she looked at Kes and said Bye bye to him. I wrapped my baby boy in one of my shirts and hubby got a box that we could put him in comfortably. I went out to the side of the house and started digging his grave under the grape barber. The sun was shining. Yes, I do believe it was an omen that cast the clouds over us, making me go into the house, and allowing me to be there for Kes on his last breath. Because, honestly, I think that was what the "jolt" was. Me, I'm grateful that I could have been there for him. I'm grateful for what I have in my life, what I have had in my life and what I will have in my life in the future. My baby boy Kes may be physically gone but he will never be gone from my heart. Thank you for listening and letting me go on. I appreciate it. Autism

Hi all. Samantha requested some Autism items and I thought that I would make a few. My nephew, Bobby, is autistic. My sister has started a new regiment with probiotics with high vitamin C and stuff like that and you should see the difference in him! Not saying that will work for all autistic persons but it appears to be helping out with Bobby. He is an unbelievable beautiful little boy! Such bright blue eyes! And when he smiles he could charm the pants off the devil! Although...he has that devilish look sometimes and you KNOW something is about to happen. My sister has 4 kids and believe me she has her hands full! So, if anyone out there is interested, you can get the Autism Items by clicking on the link. Well I took my first swim in the pool last night and was looking forward to swimming tonight! But the rain, thunder and lightening have other plans for me! Hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

Going to the Zoo!

I can't wait! Took next Monday and Tuesday off from work. I will be taking the little one to the Cincinnati Zoo. They have a new exhibit where you can feed the giraffes! The hubby will be away for a week and I thought it would be nice to spend the day with the little one goofing off. So, on that note, I made up a few zoo items. There are some zoo logos which I most likely didn't get all of them [there are quite a few zoo's out there!]. I think the zoo I like best is in Massachusetts, it's called the Southwick Zoo. It is privately owned and really fun. They have an area where deer run around and come up to you and you can feed them. You can get closer to the animals than any other zoo I have been to - that includes Zebras, Elephants, Monkeys, etc. If you are ever in MA you should check it out. They have a totally white peacock as well! Anyways, if interested, you can get the Zoo Items and 9 Zoo Papers by clicking on the links.

Wishing You Were Someone Different?

Here is a little something for you then. Although being someone different or walking in someone else's shoes usually doesn't turn out to be what you thought it would be. I'm one of those that loves my life the way it is - faults and all! Wouldn't change anything ... well, maybe one thing. And that would have been to spend more time with my son while he was growing up and not being so consumed about making ends meet. Should have let the bill collectors call! So, if interested at all, you can get the Face Fill-Ins by clicking on the links. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Religion

Hope everyone is doing fine today! There have been many requests for religious items. Only problem with that is that no one is telling me what religion they are requesting! So, I have made up some items that touches many different religions. I apologize right here and now if I did not include your religion. I never realized how many different religions there were! I was going to say a few things but I kept reading what I was writing and I knew that it would most likely irritate someone out there. Having a discussion about one's religion should happen face to face - not on a blog where you may misinterpret what is being discussed. So, if you are interested at all, you can get the Religious Journals, Tags and Brads and Religious Paper by clicking on the links. Have a safe and joyous weekend!

Frogs, Turtles and Lizards - Oh My!

Speaking of frogs! We saw the cutest little frog last night in the lake where our pool pipes are being laid out. The little girl loves frogs. We have spotted some turtles in our yard and when we come across one in the road [we actually stop before we go across one!] we put them on the side of the road of which way they were crawling towards. Now, lizards...she really seemed to like them when we went to the Cincinnati Zoo last year and she was able to pet a couple different kinds. But she is a year older so we will see what happens this year when she is able to pet [and even hold!] a lizard. Should be interesting! So, if you are at all interested you can get Turtles, Frogs and Lizards by clicking on the link. Hoping you all are having fun in the sun and wearing that sunscreen!

Hot Air!

That would be balloons - not what I'm full of ... although, I think the hubby would disagree with that. Something a little different today. Balloons and more balloons. Who doesn't like balloons? We should have the retaining wall up this weekend. All the gravel work has been laid and levelled. I can now envision what it's going to actually look like. I think it's going to look really nice. We have busted our butts getting it to this point. The block will be delivered on Thursday and a couple of our friend will be coming over this weekend for hotdogs, burgers, beer, and some wall building! Can't wait to get it done! Then I can finally get the pool open! Well, after the hubby finishes laying the pipe and getting the pump back up and running. We moved all that a few feet away from where it originally was. I'll have to post a before and after so you all know what I'm talking about. So, anyways, if you are at all interested, you can Download Balloons by clicking on the links. Hope you are having a fantastic day!

Cowboys and Indians - Part 2

No, I don't mind anyone going through the "backdoor" ... wait a sec ... that just doesn't sound right! Oh, crap, please don't tell my hubby I just said that! Seriously, remember, if you are ever asked for a password it can be found on the right side of this blog - under the Welcome. And yes, I left a "back door" open for whoever wants the kits and didn't see the password on the right. So, to those that have figured it out - I'm proud of you! Oh, and no, I don't mind anyone downloading anything that has not been posted on this blog yet. If I minded, I would not have a link going directly to My 4Shared Folders and I would not upload them there until I was ready to post here. Sorry to those who are like ... what? What is she talking about! Here she goes again! Anyways, here is the 2nd part of yesterdays posting. It is Cowboy Brads and Things. Ok, now, remember … what’s the password?

Giddy-Up - Part 1 of 2

Hi all! I was going to wait until tomorrow to post this but it's been downloaded 18 times so far so I figured I would get at least Part 1 out to the rest of you. Please please please don't think I'm bitching and complaining! I'm not! I find it awesome that some people take the initiative to get what they want [you know who you are and you know what I'm talking about!!!] Oh oh oh ... I woke up really early this morning and the little girl must have heard me because she woke up before I could jump in the shower. We have a queen size bed in her bedroom so I got her out of her crib [almost time to make it into a toddler bed!!!] and laid down with her. We were facing each other and she gently puts her hand on my cheek and smiles. I closed my eyes and she rubbed my face until I opened my eyes and she had the most beautiful twinkle in her eyes while she smiled again. I tell you it just bursts my heart with love when I look at that little girl. Sometimes you have to realize how truly blessed you are. Ok, enough of the sentimental (&@$*. If interested, you can get Cowboy Papers and Journals by clicking on the links. Hope all is well with you all! Enjoy your day!

Land Hooo!

Sorry for the delay but I have been a little stressed the last couple of days. I know I know ... excuses excuses! So for those of you who have been patiently waiting, here are the PIRATE PAPERS. Mmmmm ... The next two postings will be of Cowboys and Indians. Although I think I may do a little more "Indian" items in a bit as I find the Native American Indian heritage quite fascinating and their artwork absolutely beautiful. Is that the right terminology? Native American Indian? Or is it just Native American? I am so un-PC it's not funny. The only prejudice bone in my body is actually against prejudiced people. Just don't understand it. On another note - the doctor that I have been trying to make an appointment with just called me - guess what? I have an appointment with him on Saturday! Did you ever hear of such a thing? Saturday doctors appointment? Ok, gotta get going. Hope everyone is doing great!
