New Addition to Our Family!!!

Well, I again have been sick. Seems that I can't get a break sometimes...but that comes with the territory I guess. So, even though my head was swimming every time I stood up we went to the pound and my little one picked out the new addition to our family! His name is Bear. Although the way he lounges around I'm starting to think that we should have named him Lump. He is supposed to be a Beagle Husky mix. I chuckled at that one. Don't really see the husky in him but only time will tell. So, now here is the real kicker! A month or so before I found out I was pregnant with my little girl we adopted our little kittens, Renfield and Vladimir from the pound. Well ... hey, sometimes lightening does strike twice! Hope all is well and have a great weekend.

Sorry, haven't been on for the past couple of days. Been extremely busy with the holidays so close. I haven't even gone shopping for the little one!!! I have taken the next two days off from work so I will hopefully get what I need for her, finish decorating the tree, etc..... Today is a little dress up for a Gingerbread "person". Ok so here is a Christmas Template that I was playing around with. Should I be saving it in a different format? Or is the png still ok to do when it's a template of sorts? I need to get an even medium. So in the next couple of days I will be posting odds and ends of things to see what your suggestions are. I would also like to say Thank You to the people out there that said that my "work" isn't up to par and that it's not worth downloading, etc etc. Because of you, I now have more umphf to try different things and expand a little. I'm not the type to have people try and push me down and stay laying down. No no, that only makes me stronger and makes me push back even harder - I'm stubborn that way. So I will be doing more, learning more and hopefully posting more. And hopefully I will get better and better. Oh, and not to worry ... When I could be considered as a "real digital designer" I don't plan on EVER charging for anything that I post on this blog. Again, have a great day!

Well I finally learned how to put the background that I want on letters. I found the book that I bought a while ago. Forgot that I had it until I stumbled upon it in the "computer room." I have quotes on that because the room is more like a very large junk drawer. Everything that doesn't have a place, but I want to keep, goes in that room. It was more simple than I expected. I thought it was going to be time consuming and aggravating to do. So today will be some Candy Cane Alphabets and you can get them HERE. I do find it amazing that there are people out there that are trying to charge anywhere between $.99 - $2.99 for something like this. It's a wonder. Don't get me wrong, there are some really amazing work out there for sale that is worth purchasing [like the one I bought for Halloween shown in a previous post - and you should check out her work! Gorgeous!]. But … come on now! For what I'm posting today? They should give that as a Freebie. Anyways, if you would like me to make you up some letters with a background that you have just let me know and I will try and do it for you. It will be good practice for me. Especially since I don't have a clue as to what the hell I'm doing half the time. In either case, I think I would be better off hand drawing something and then scanning it as opposed to using the mouse. Pregnancy and Infant Loss

I have had several requests for Pregnancy and Infant Loss and this is the kit that I have been trying to make but have been having a really difficult time with. I have been blessed with 2 beautiful kids and 2 beautiful grand kids and cannot think how it would be if I lost one of them. I searched the web to get some ideas and always stopped at some sites and started reading ... In less than a second I would start crying and feeling extremely saddened. So I apologize if this isn't what the requesters had in mind but I can't seem to bring myself to work on these items for more than 10 minutes at a time before I would start thinking about loosing one of the children in my family. Hi-dee-ho! Hope everyone is having a terrific Tuesday! Today will be part I of II of the Breast Cancer Awareness items. I went through a scare several months back. Had the mammogram twice and then had the ultrasound [is that what you call it?] and fortunately everything came back great! False alarm! Scared the crap out of me though. Anywho, here is PART I of the Breast Cancer Awareness kit. Pet Peeve: I went to get my license plates for my car and was asked if I wanted to get a license plate for Breast Cancer. It went for something like $48. Out of curiosity I asked how much actually went to the funding or research of Breast Cancer. Do you know it was something like $2!!! A normal license plate would have cost me approx. $30 - so take the $2 out that went towards the BC research ... the rest of the money went into making the plates! Uhm...I'm not a mathematician or anything...but wouldn't it make more sense if I was to get a normal plate and donated the $16 as opposed to just the $2? I see so many things like this. I know it's good for awareness and all ... but ... come on couldn't a bit more of the money go to the cause?!?!?! Ok, enough of my B&C'ing. Besides it's just one of my thoughts gone wild! Hi all. I was surfing around looking for some items that would match my little ones Halloween costume and voila! I came across the most perfect kit! The funny part is that the card that I "made up" is actually her preview! I loved it so much the way it was. The only thing that I did was add the bat! The site that I got this on not only has some really nice items but she also has some techniques and step-by-step instructions on how to use Photoshop in order to create items. I tried several of them out and they are really good instructions. Easy to use and understand. What a beautiful Tuesday morning! Absolutely gorgeous drive into work today. We had a streaking red sky this morning - you know that kind? Brilliant red with a little streaking of blue sky mixed in with a wisp of just the right amount of clouds mixed in. It looked absolutely phenomenal above the colorful Autumn trees. Mornings like this really makes you feel alive. It's a shame that I sometimes take things for granted...such as a beautiful sky ... a deer ... a fox or even a little chipmunk. Although, I'm usually cursing at the buggers while I'm slamming on my car brakes so I don't hit them as they run across the road - and I'm SURE they DID NOT look both ways!!! Autumn Leaf

Took the little girl to Kinman Farm after work last night. She wanted to have another pony ride but they only have them on the weekends. She fell in love with the 2 little squealing piggies that they have there. I goochy goochy goo'd one of the little guys and it took a little nip out of me - didn't hurt just surprised me. Duh! They do have a sign saying "Pigs Do Bite!" Maybe they should have added "Even Little Ones!" for slow people such as myself that believe that all small creatures are cute and cuddly! Got some Mums and some gourds for the front yard and will pick up 4 bales of straw today and then the corn stalks tomorrow. Hopefully I will be able to set something really nice up in the front yard. I'll also use it for a photoshot as well. It will be a daily stop on the way home [just like last year] until they close shop end of October. So, today will be something a little Autumnish. Halloween Cards

One of the farms just opened up down the road. They get it all gussied up for Halloween with pumpkins, hay rides and such. I can't wait to take the little one there again this year. They have a small petting zoo which she absolutely adored last year. We also have a haunted hay ride a couple of miles up the other way from our house which I do believe we will be taking her on this year. I've been getting her prepared! Jumping out at her when she turns the corner or pouncing on her from the closet with hands raised, eyes crazed and hair a-flying and screaming BOO!!! Sorry about the delay but with the weather and all I, like millions of others, have been surveying and cleaning the damage that Dear Ole Ike has caused. My family is safe so a few damaged trees, car, etc. can be overlooked. For now that is ... until the $$$ starts being spent to clean up and repair. So much for the little nest egg. I'm wondering if anyone hasn't ever seen the Wizard of Oz. I remember growing up and watching it every year. My daughter saw it for the first time last year and I guess we will do what my family used to do each year - make it a family thing and watch it every year. That would be the same as Willie Wonker and the Chocolate Factory. Oh, and does anyone remember The Incredible Mr. Limpit? Now THAT brings back memories! I was going to do a few more things relating to CSI stuff but stupid me put in "crime scenes" in the search and I ended up seeing some really nasty photographs of actual crime scenes. Duh to me. I actually have a very past due bill that I am going to put this towards when it gets to a certain point. Yeah, it's one of those that is about 5 years old and I have been nickeling and diming to death in order to pay it off. We ALL know about THOSE types of bills! My little one swam all by herself Friday! Well, she had a flotation vest on ... but she was all over the pool like a mermaid!!! I had to run and get the camcorder because I figured no one would believe us when we told them. She even got on my back as I was swimming, stood up and jumped off of me! I looked at the hubby and stuttered ... did she just? ...did she? and he replied with a big grin "Yup! She jumped off your back!" The good thing is that she doesn't dare just jump in the pool by herself. We are constantly on guard about that and tell her not to even lean in to get something out of the pool. Ok...so I don't really have any actual cupcakes to hand out. And, NO, it's NOT because I ate all of them! Although I most likely would eat them all if I had them in front of me ... no no bad bad thought!!! For everyone that asked I am on the 11 Day "plan" which is 11 days of eating what they tell you. Then you get 3 days off to eat what you want - with the exception of making a complete glutton out of yourself! Why kill yourself for 11 days only to ruin it in 3? I finished my 11 days yesterday and I have a plan. I plan on going to Dave's BBQ for lunch today! And then for dinner tomorrow I will be going to the new Chinese Buffet that is down the street. The rest of the time I plan on being good. I lost 11 pounds this time around so I'm curious to see what the next 11 days is going to bring. Sounds like a Sci-Fi or Horror Channel movie ... doesn't it? 11 Days in Hell. Something like 28 Days or 30 Nights - but a tad bit scarier! Ok, enough of my dribble drabble. Most likely because I told the hubby that if I lose the weight I would think about having another baby before I hit the ripe ole age of 45. Yeah, I know ... what the )(&*@#% was I thinking!?! It could also be because of the lose of my baby boy Kes [cat] a couple of weeks ago as well. But honestly? I think it's because I really liked the feeling of being pregnant. Ok, is this some sort of midlife crisis I'm going through? Is there a facility out there that can help me? Please someone set me straight! Smack me around a bit ... oh, wait ... I kinda like that. Mmmm, I have a beautiful 2 year old little girl, a granddaughter and another granddaughter on the way ... so I really am fortunate with what I have and best just stop my ranting and count my blessings. This time around I am taking the time to enjoy my little girl. I can't seem to get enough of her! I know I know ... just wait ... My hubby seems to think that I am going to wreck the car because I keep looking at her in the rear view mirror - she makes the darnedest faces! Oh, did I tell you that I started a "diet" [gosh I HATE that word!]. Started it 9 days ago and have lost over 10 pounds so far. I tried the Weight Watchers and things like that, but honestly? This "plan" tells me exactly what to eat and I can eat as much as I want of it as long as I don't make a glutton out of myself. So far so good. It's kinda bad when you need that double mirror just so you can see the other half of your butt[ocks]! The only issue I had with it was yesterdays menu - it was a salad day - where all you could eat was a salad. Tell you the truth the only thing that saved me yesterday was the friggin pinto beans that I could put in it! Now that's pretty bad! Ok, gotta get going - enjoy your chocolate bar! Granted, I can't do the things that some others can do, and there are a lot of blogs/sites out there that have some pretty amazing items for sale at a reasonable price - but come on - $3.99 for a picture of a license plate! Why is it that when something turns out to be a lot of fun - someone has to ruin it by making it into an expensive hobby. Mmmm...ok, someone kick me off my pedestal! Quick! Enough of my ranting! A Sad Note

Kes, my baby boy cat, passed away yesterday. He was a black and white kitty that had double-paws on all four feet and weighed about 18 pounds. He has been sick for the past couple of weeks so it wasn't a surprise for him to pass. I just need to share this so please bear with me. He had been sleeping on the staircase landing for the past couple of days and yesterday he climbed the stairs and laid underneath the bed on my side. Yesterday was a beautiful day and hubby and myself were enjoying it by swimming with the little girl and pa-paw. Out of no where the sky shifted from a clear blue sky to dark clouds. It started sprinkling and you could hear thunder. So we decided to get out of the pool and go inside. I went up to see Kes and to make sure that he was comfortable and ok. I laid on the ground and placed my hand on his stomach and pet him. I don't know how to explain it because the sensation was odd, but his body jolted, but it wasn't a spasm or anything. I knew that he passed right then. All I could do was hold him and rock him while I sat on the floor crying. Hubby and the little girl came up to see what happened. My beautiful little princess looked at Kes and knew something was out of sorts. I thought that I would be upset that hubby brought her in the room when he should have known what was going on but for whatever reason I wasn't. I told her that Kes was gone and that I was crying because I would miss him so much. That he would be able to see his brother WeaselDog. I was surprised when she looked at Kes and said Bye bye to him. I wrapped my baby boy in one of my shirts and hubby got a box that we could put him in comfortably. I went out to the side of the house and started digging his grave under the grape barber. The sun was shining. Yes, I do believe it was an omen that cast the clouds over us, making me go into the house, and allowing me to be there for Kes on his last breath. Because, honestly, I think that was what the "jolt" was. Me, I'm grateful that I could have been there for him. I'm grateful for what I have in my life, what I have had in my life and what I will have in my life in the future. My baby boy Kes may be physically gone but he will never be gone from my heart. Thank you for listening and letting me go on. I appreciate it. Hi all. Samantha requested some Autism items and I thought that I would make a few. My nephew, Bobby, is autistic. My sister has started a new regiment with probiotics with high vitamin C and stuff like that and you should see the difference in him! Not saying that will work for all autistic persons but it appears to be helping out with Bobby. He is an unbelievable beautiful little boy! Such bright blue eyes! And when he smiles he could charm the pants off the devil! Although...he has that devilish look sometimes and you KNOW something is about to happen. Going to the Zoo!

I can't wait! Took next Monday and Tuesday off from work. I will be taking the little one to the Cincinnati Zoo. They have a new exhibit where you can feed the giraffes! The hubby will be away for a week and I thought it would be nice to spend the day with the little one goofing off. So, on that note, I made up a few zoo items. There are some zoo logos which I most likely didn't get all of them [there are quite a few zoo's out there!]. I think the zoo I like best is in Massachusetts, it's called the Southwick Zoo. It is privately owned and really fun. They have an area where deer run around and come up to you and you can feed them. You can get closer to the animals than any other zoo I have been to - that includes Zebras, Elephants, Monkeys, etc. If you are ever in MA you should check it out. Speaking of frogs! We saw the cutest little frog last night in the lake where our pool pipes are being laid out. The little girl loves frogs. We have spotted some turtles in our yard and when we come across one in the road [we actually stop before we go across one!] we put them on the side of the road of which way they were crawling towards. Now, lizards...she really seemed to like them when we went to the Cincinnati Zoo last year and she was able to pet a couple different kinds. But she is a year older so we will see what happens this year when she is able to pet [and even hold!] a lizard. Should be interesting! We should have the retaining wall up this weekend. All the gravel work has been laid and levelled. I can now envision what it's going to actually look like. I think it's going to look really nice. We have busted our butts getting it to this point. The block will be delivered on Thursday and a couple of our friend will be coming over this weekend for hotdogs, burgers, beer, and some wall building! Can't wait to get it done! I closed my eyes and she rubbed my face until I opened my eyes and she had the most beautiful twinkle in her eyes while she smiled again. Going on a Vacation!!!

Hey, sorry for not posting or anything but I'm FINALLY going on a "vacation." Well, I'm actually going to Virginia to see my sister, nieces and nephews. Can't beat the cost either ... my sister paid for the air fair!!! I am leaving tomorrow so I have been cleaning the house and getting everything prepared. It's just going to be the little girl and me. Daddy is on a business trip in Colorado. Hey, at least we don't have to leave the boys by themselves. The boys would be my cats Kes, Vladimir and Renfield. We do have another cat who is named Princess but she is what I would consider the beasts of ALL beasts. Princess is actually my son's cat that I somehow inherited and can be a mean nasty cat. Hubby wants to get rid of her [and yes, so would I as she has bit the little girl several times]. I can't give her to anyone that has kids or won't take care of her. I can't make her an out door cat as she will most likely get run over by the trucks that go by [we had lost 2 cats a few years back - hence they are indoor cats at this time]. And there is NO WAY I will "put her down." That is NOT something I would do since she is otherwise very healthy. So I make sure that she is feed and watered and I give her the 3 second pet before she can turn around and bite me. And when she bites it's not a nip. She sinks her teeth into you and you have to literally pry her mouth open. Anyways! PaPaw will be checking in on them. Oh, and for you that don't know what a Pa-Paw is it would be the Kentucky version of Grandpa. I chuckled when I heard it for the first few times. What really cracks me up is the Ma-Maw [Grandma]. Sounds too much like Mammogram to me. And yes, I have called her that several times [Mammogram]. Ok, I will be back on Monday so hopefully I will have something for you on Tuesday. I think one of the prettiest things around these days are in the form of stamps. Although I'm not to crazy about the way the pricing keeps going up on them. What? Next month it will be going up again. Mmmm ... I was going to say something really mean and sarcastic but hell, I wouldn't want to deal with the people that Postal Personnel deal with on a daily basis! Would you? No way. Dealing with irate people waiting for checks and dogs barking and/or biting you, or heaven forbid! That housewife [househusband?] that just wants to chat all day about their problems! A Farming We Will Go

Hope everyone had a great weekend! I rented a jackhammer Sunday morning and tore up some concrete! Oddly enough I LOVED it! We needed to take out some concrete surrounding the pool in order to put in part of the French drain. I was going to do it by hand but after hammering the crap out of a section and nothing happened [only chipped a tiny bit] I decided to rent the darn thing. Thank goodness I did! Some of the concrete was over a foot thick! It was only supposed to be a couple of inches! Well, needless to say that section of it is done. Ok, here are a few farming items. They are mostly farm equipment but have some odds and ends in it. I was going to work on some Curious George things today but my hands are killing me and I forgot to bring them into work with me. So I might have to work on something different today when I get a chance. But anyways! I need to know! How are you free Pat? They finally gave you the "word"? Woo Hooo! If only I would get "the word." Mmmmm ... that would be pretty nice ... right before the summer. Time to spend with the little girl! Oh, yeah, dreams ... aren't they nice? Unfortunately I have to work in order to pay the bills - but hey, I'm not the only one that has to do it so I will stop B&C'ing. Dress Up

Just a little something [and I do mean a little!] that I've been playing around with. Some of the sizes may be a little off but hopefully you all can manipulate them to fit to your liking. I was going to do jewelry and the like for them but I'm not sure if I like 'em that much to spend more time on them. I may try doing it again but with different items. I just needed to do something a little different. I really liked doing the "odd" requests. Like the Red Hat Society and the others like that ... something different. Some of the requests I have gotten are quite different [and difficult] and I am trying to work on gathering stuff for them. So if anyone has something out of the ordinary please let me know! Don't you wish you had just a tad bit more of it! It's a shame that everything is so expensive these days. For example...remember when Legos were $19.99 for 500 pieces? Now it costs you $75 for 50 pieces. And you have to build what THEY want you to! Or better yet! When scrapbooking was a "fad" and was inexpensive? Now it could cost you well over $100 to do a few pages using material items. I mean, come on now! Oh oh oh!!! Remember when you had 13 channels on your television and it cost you nothing to watch it - maybe some rabbit ears and a little aluminum foil if the ears were acting up. Ok, NOW I'm REALLY dating myself! Mmmm, I wonder if anyone actually asks someone if they "can spare a dime" anymore. Most likely NOT. It would be more like ... hey buddy, can you spare $5 - and that wouldn't even buy you a damn cup of coffee anymore! Sorry for not posting earlier. I think I've gotten into a lazy mode lately. But here are some US coins that I thought you may [or may not] be able to use. I think it's neat that each state has their own coin. Actually when they first did it I thought it was pretty ridiculous ... but now, hey, it's kinda neat. And it may help the kids learn how many states and what their names are in the USofA. Here is a story you guys may find enjoyable. I say this because I would laugh if someone told me that this happened to them. I didn't much think it was funny last night though....Ok, the little girl got up around 10:00pm last night in a really funky mood, cranky and had a mean looking rash [1st "diaper" rash she ever had]. So I took her out of her crib and brought her into my bedroom. The hubby, little girl and myself were laying on the bed when I heard this really odd noise...yeah, you most likely know what noise I am referring to ... the one you hear right before they throw up all over you. Well, I was laying on my tummy, she was standing over me and ... BLAHHHH!!! She ended up throwing up alllll over my head, shoulders and back! I tell you, kids are lucky we love them unconditionally. Because if my husband ever did that I think I would go out and actually buy a rolling pin just to bonk him on the head. So, the little one and myself did a little jaunt to the bathroom, took a shower together and put new pjs on while Daddy changed the sheets, pillow cases, etc. You notice that the daddy didn't get puked on [why is that?!?!?]. After that I put her back to bed and she finally fell asleep. Ok, just for you "new" parents out there, or even for the ones that have little girls and never used this product...we found that the Crayola bathtub fizzies caused her to get the "rash" in her nether regions which caused her a great deal of pain. She LOVES the Crayola bathtub crayons though...and they don't bother her at all. She hates the Crayola bathtub paints. I think it's because it feels and looks like soft gel - and you can't really paint with them at all. Anyways! Here is another posting for Our Heroes with some Red Cross, Marines, and such. Funny, I was making up some military items in support of the men and woman that are doing what I don't think I would ever have the courage to do when someone requested some Air Force items. For the next couple of days I will be posting some "military" items. These will also consist of Fire Fighters, Police and other departments. Ok, I am going to Chucky Cheese with the little girl today with a friend and her little boy so I gotta make this quick. Taking half the day off from work so I have to wrap things up here. Part 2 and a Little Venting

I have a question for you or maybe it's just a thought or perhaps just an observation or perhaps even just a little venting. Let me ask you all this: Would you consider it legal to take a picture of something that is located in a public area - where you could have no possible reasonable expectation of privacy - say a park, a sports arena or any other venue such as these? Would it be legal to use this photograph as you deem fit? The answer to these questions would be an emphatic YES! It is legal. If you are in an area such as these then you could not possibly have any reasonable expectation of any type of privacy. You must consider yourself in the public view and either behave accordingly [no streaking please!] or hide what you do not want to be seen [sorry, those toupees don't hide a thing!] Now, on the other hand, for example, if you are in a closed room [you know the kind...four walls, a ceiling and floor - perhaps even padded a little!] then you can have some reasonable expectation of privacy. My point being this. If it is in the public view ... then it is not private nor should it be considered so. But! If someone has to go over and beyond what is considered "normal" ... say ... scaling a fence, doing a little B&E or bribe someone in order to get something then I would say that you are doing something a tad bit illegal. So, if it is easily gained then it cannot possibly be private. I realize some of you are like...what?...what is she going on about? Suffice it to say, someone out there apparently wants to be a lawyer and thinks they know copyright laws. But before they speak please - oh please - GO TO LAW SCHOOL!!! Or at least, have the courtesy to email me with your name so we can have a discussion about what is legal and what is not. I wish I was anyways. Not sure if this is the "happy place on earth" that was requested. But these are some things that I created for my trip a while ago that I made up from the pamplets that Disney sent me, as well as, pictures and old ticket stubs and such. I actually fancy the older look of things - you know, that antique look. There is something so calming in the color and weathered look...oh, sorry....going off on something totally different! Oh, and Pat from Houston I must ask dear girl! What, pray tell, were some of the things you came up with for MFTP! Mmmmm???? I don't know what I'm going to do next as no one has requested anything - and if you have and I haven't done it it means that I forgot what was requested. Hi all! Hope all is going good. Sorry, but I have been spending a lot of time with the hubby and the little girl the last couple of days. Dear ole hubby said that if I didn't get my nose out of the computer he would put a sledgehammer to it. Uhm, I'm hoping he meant the computer and not the nose! The look in his eyes told me that he wasn't kidding. I felt a tad bit warm and fuzzy when he threatened me. Just goes to show me that after all this time he still cares! Anyways and anywho ... A Magical Place

And this is why I start getting things organized in my mind well in advance! I drive my husband, family and friends nuts because I start something, change gears, do it totally different, change gears again...and on and on and on. But I know that I do this and that's why I do things early on. Ok, I love anything with puppets and muppets. As does the little girl. She loves the Sprites and I happen to love looking at Johnny. I'm married, not dead! And yes, I realize he is a tad bit younger than I am. Nothing wrong with fantasizing. I'm married to someone that is a little over 6 years younger than me. So I am thinking about doing her 2nd birthday with this theme. It's fun, magical and has a colorful twist to it that you can use any color within the theme and get away with it. Doesn't mean that I will not change my mind...but I think I might stick with this theme ... than again... might not. I swear Disney's Celebration Center just gives you way to many options. If you haven't checked out their website you really should - it's really neat. They have a lot of great free downloads that you can use. Hi all. I received a request from someone that was in the Red Hat Society. I would like to thank EH a/k/a Viscountess of Discountess for asking me to do this. I hope she doesn't mind, but I want to share a part of what she emailed me as I found the "society" rather intriguing: "...I am a member of the "Red Hat Society", a group that was formed ten years ago to celebrate women over fifty. We dress in purple when we go out, with a red hat and lots of Bling. Each chapter has a queen. The other members of the group can choose a royal non-queen name. Different chapters do different things. The website http://www.redhatsociety.com/ tells the whole story. At the recent conference in Vegas, thousands of women, dressed in full regalia, performed a can-can on the strip attempting to break the Guinness Book of World's Records listing. Women younger than fifty can be pink hatters and wear lavendar clothing. We go to plays, teas, champagne breakfasts (in our purple pjs and red caps or bandanas). It is a wonderful organization that encourages older women to "live, love, laugh". Many of us have become "sisters" in a very real way. Coming to a blog near you! I should be done with these tomorrow. I guess it would really be more for kids so that they can design them the way they want them and all ... but hey, you never know. Maybe you will be able to use them for something else. I went to Disney Playhouse Celebration Center and they have some pretty neat birthday invites and whatnot. I think I downloaded every party theme they had. They have some Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Ohh and Ahh, Handy Manny, Little Einsteins, and the Pooh with Darby, as well as some others. They have them in pdf format so I should be able to transfer them to photoshop and play around with them. Yeah, I think I will do that. Sorry, I don't have anything to "post" today. Bow Wow

How many parents have jumped up and down with joy because their child has finally pooped without their knowledge? Well I'm one of 'em. Some of you are most likely rereading the above sentence to make sure you read it right...well, you did. Finally! The 3rd day that my little girl has gone poop without a sound. No stiffening of her body, no horrific look on her beautiful face, and no screaming in shear agony. We tried everything you can possibly think of and we finally broke down and got the Miralax for her. I only give her 1/2 the dosage that she requires and it's working like a charm. Although I did mess up and started giving it to her in her night time bottle. If you ever have to use the stuff make sure you don't take it at night. You will never get any sleep - works better than caffeine because the little girl did not sleep at all. I felt so bad because you could see she was exhausted and wanted to sleep, but just couldn't. But hey, she's pooping fine now! Ok, sorry about the poop talk. Will try and not let it happen again. But I had to share the joy with ya all! Being a bit lazy these days. I want to share a site I found last September that I think you will really like. You will find some really adorable tags, paper, journals, toppers, etc. on it. I made a small preview of her work so that you can see some of what she has to offer. As you can see she has pixies, bears, frogs, pigs, babies, dolls and ohhh so much more! Was a bit under the weather today so I decided to stay home from work today. I guess the good thing about staying home today was I did my Federal and State Income Tax, along with getting the bills paid - well, some of them anyways. Does anyone actually get all the bills paid? Hi all, been a tad bit busy lately. Been a lot going on here so I just had time to make up the post that I have today. I'm really not done with it as there are so many different things you can do with a pet layout that I will be doing a few more items. I will try and make them as different as possible. I don't know if you guys have noticed but I will usually leave a template in the "kit" so that you can add whatever element you want in it. I'm pretty sure that I got every state, including Alaska, Hawaii, New Mexico and Canada. I could not believe how many plates there are for one state! I got anywhere between 2-3 plates per state. These license plates are blank so you can put your own words, letters or numbers on them. Something like "Our Trip" or "Going Home" or even something that's more original! I get the impression that I will not be able to post anything tomorrow because of Jury Duty - and by the time I get home I will want to spend time with the little girl and hubby. Not sure how long I will be on it or if they will send me home. Believe me, I don't mind being on jury duty at all - comes with the territory of being a U.S. Citizen. Came home yesterday from work and had a message on my answering machine stating that I had to go to the Court House on Monday for Jury Duty. I was on-call for this from October to the end of January! So my postings may be a little sporadic if I need to actually be on a Jury. Well, I gotta get the little one dressed to go out. Not sure what we are going to do today but I go nuts if I stay in the house for long periods of time. Ok, so it's not THAT much of a stretch on the part of me going nuts. I thought I had moved the older stuff into another folder but apparently I somehow moved them into some type of warp zone because I can't find them and will have to upload them all again [into that infamous unshared/password protected folder!]. Mmmm, you know the hardest thing about doing this is making up a password. Gotta be something simple so someone as simple minded as me can remember it. Eh, let's just stay stuffed animals! Hope everyone is have a good day today. Woke up this morning to a dead fish [you know, one of the ones I just bought]. I have it in the car in a zip lock baggy with some water so I can return it and get a new one. Oh, and I had to shovel the snow off the car before going to work! Have about an inch and a half and it's still snowing!!! Yee Haaa!!! Slid down the driveway a little! But hey, I made it to work. Hi all! Happy Saturday! Went to the new library we have and the little girl loved it! They had several play areas and she socialized quite a bit! I tell ya, she is to darn cute! Autism Awareness

My sister sent a beautiful poem to me for Christmas regarding Autism, which I read at work. I was a weeping [thank goodness I don't wear mascara - would have looked like a raccoon!] wretch! It made me appreciate and feel blessed for what I have even more than ever. Moreover, it made me feel a great deal of compassion and ... I can't think of a strong enough word ... but the amount of strength that it must take to be a parent of a child that is Autistic or has Downs Syndrome or any other type of affliction. My nephew is autistic and he has 1 brother and 2 sisters. I don't think I ever gave my sister the credit until I read that poem. Honestly, I don't know if I would have the strength. I do know that she calls me up elated to tell me that Bobby said a new word - or ate something different! Just remember that these two downloads are the same - only difference is that one is PNG format while the other is in PSD. Fairies a Flying

Ah, what a beautiful day it is! Well, ok, I haven't really looked outside yet. But I'll be an optimist this morning. I live in Kentucky so it's not like we have a "real" winter where it snows and stays white all winter. Yes, I am one of "those" that like snow in the winter time. Just finished a request for fairies. I wasn't sure exactly what kind so I did what I could with what I have. There are approximately 63 different fairies so hopefully you guys will like at least one of them. Well I think I will have a little something fun tomorrow so make sure you check back tomorrow! Star Gazing

I couldn't sleep last night and whipped up a few planets and things - odds and ends really. But maybe something someone could use. Not really sure how you can use the Nebula[s] but I thought they were kinda cool looking. I will be working on a few cartoons and some Thomas the Train [as requested] and will most likely have TTT done tomorrow. The cartoons may not be in any order as it can be a pain to categorize things. I have the tendency to throw everything into one folder and sometimes forget to categorize them as I go. Holiday Travelling

Hi all! I'm sure some of you travelled to get to family and friends this holiday. Me? I stayed home with my daughter and hubby. For the most part my family lives on the East Coast and I don't like to travel during the holiday seasons. To many chances to get stuck in an airport - Blah! Sorry to those that this happened to. Well, I have made up 149 travelling embellishments. I believe I got all states, but may have missed one or two - sorry if I did - just let me know and I'll do my best to get them. In the next couple of days I may post some "airport" ones for those that travelled by air. But than again ... maybe ... mmmm. AnyWHO - enjoy and have fun!
